Guest information

Thank you for choosing to stay at the Quarry House Luxury Retreat, your own inner-city oasis in close proximity to all Hobart has to offer.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for choosing to stay at the Quarry House Luxury Retreat, your own inner-city oasis in close proximity to all Hobart has to offer.
We believe where you stay should be as memorable an experience as the places you explore. The Quarry House Luxury Retreat has been created with that in mind.
We offer a premium experience in a boutique setting so as to maintain quest privacy. The Quarry House consists of just two suites, which are named after pioneers of the Tamanian wine and whisky industries. We are proud to be the small guys and to support fine Tassie produce which you’ll get to sample with our compliments.
It was a stroke of luck that the award winning Glaetzer-Dixon wines decided to set up next door just as we joined the neighbourhood. We’re so excited that we’ve claimed a bottle of their highly sought after product, just for you.
To appease the whisky gods we have also left out a sample of premium Tasmanian whisky, along with local beer and fudge to round off your Tassie taste journey.
Also with our compliments is a selection of breakfast provisions for your first morning including jams, bacon, eggs and fresh bread.
The Domain Tennis Centre is close by which is why there are tennic rackets and balls available for use during your stay. In case golf is more your game we also have a set of clubs so you can take advantage of the many golf courses withing the Greater Hobart area. Two bicycles and helmets are provided as quick transport to local markets or is you’re feeling energetic take the cycle path out to MONA. You are also walking distance to the waterfront, Hobart CBD, Aquatics Centre and Domain walking trails including the Soldiers Walk.
We hope you enjoy the Quarry House Lusy Retreat and return again soon.
Best wishes,
Vanessa and Terry Field.
